HaRav Elyashiv, Soft Matza Suitable for Jews of all Traditions

HaRav Weitman, the respected Rav of Tnuva wrote, "I requested that an associate take the Matza you left with me to Rabbi Elyashiv. Rav Elyashiv saw these (Exodus) Matzot and inspected them, and he said that from what he observes, these Matzot would be perfectly Kosher for Pesach."
this is the email I received from Rav Weitman "לרבי מאיר שלום רב,
ביקשתי מחבר לקחת את המצות שהשארת לי לרב יוסף שלום אלישיב שליט"א והרב אלישיב ראה את המצות ואמר שהצורה והרכות שלהן איננה מעכבת ואיננה מפריעה לכשרותן
In response to a subsequent inquiry, Rav Weitman added that
"ברור לי שהוא אמר את דבריו גם לאשכנזים" "I am positive that HaRav Elyashiv said this in relation to Ashkenasim"

Here is the background to the above email Rabbi Meir Rabi visited Rabbi Zev Weitman at his office at Tnuva in Tel Aviv. Rabbi Weitman is the Rabbi responsible for the Kashrus of the entire Tnuva production, Tnuva being the largest food company in Israel. Rabbi Rabi and Rabbi Weitman are well acquainted through telephone conversations they have had in the past regarding various Halachic issues to do with Kashrut.
At this meeting they spoke about various issues related to Kashrut, including the matter of soft Matza. Rabbi Rabi showed Rabbi Weitman samples of the Exodus soft Matza manufactured in Melbourne under his Kashrut supervision. These samples were left with Rabbi Weitman.
Subsequently, Rabbi Weitman requested that an associate take these samples to HaRav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv bio. Rabbi Elyashiv saw and inspected these Matzot and then stated that from what he observes, these Matzot would be perfectly Kosher for Pesach.
Rav Weitman is absolutely certain that HaRav Elyashiv was saying this with regards to Jews of all backgrounds and traditions.
Of course, this is not and can not be taken as a statement of endorsement for this particular soft Matza, since HaRav Elyashiv is unaware of the details of the process of manufacture.
